Genealogy
The Wetumpka Public Library has a reference section with items of local historical and genealogical interest. It contains all of the Alabama Heritage County books that have been printed. The library carries subscriptions to over 30 periodicals as well as the Wetumpka Herald, The Montgomery Advertiser, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. The library has bound copies of the Wetumpka Herald from 1975 through June 2010.
